December 5th & 6th 2026

A non-residential, in-person weekend retreat with Dawn Russell and Lorraine Grayston
At Emerson College, Ashdown Forest

“Thank you for another wonderful and transformative weekend.
I can honestly say that I’ve not experienced anything as powerful and peaceful with any other work I’ve done.
We move through so much, in such a deeply safe and trustworthy environment that you both create and hold.”

Woman Weaving Wisdom participant

In this weekend retreat we turn our attention to the profound potency of listening with the whole of our being, to receiving and weaving our dream of life. So much emphasis nowadays is placed upon achieving goals and visioning rather than tuning into that which is already in the field of creation awaiting for us to tune into, receive and co-create.

To be aware within the dream of life is to be in the consciousness of connection. It is to directly experience the intelligent and compassionate universe.

It is to be less in the solid material world and more in the energy world. To be in this awareness, through experience, we develop greater trust in the intelligence of the body, the intelligence of the heart.

We will seek to embody our internal authority instead of giving our power and vitality to external authority.

The medicine people from around the world live with one foot in the material world and one foot in the world of energy – the spirit world. They know how to be aware of, and receive from, the energy world, how to hear the songs of the vibrations of the dreams. They know how to make themselves available and open to receiving and call into manifestation, into this material world. They live the dance between the feminine and masculine archetypal energy.

We also know, but may have forgotten, to fully re-member this.
First we take time to deeply listen and receive and then call and feel into being the dreams that sing to us.

“Begin to weave and the Divine will provide the thread.”
~ Old proverb

We will craft the flow with a variety of tools and practises:

  • The wisdom from the circle of women
  • The power of song
  • Storytelling
  • The Shamanic drum journey
  • Ceremony
  • Spiritual connection and being in nature
